AALL aboard for the American tour!

FullSizeRender[4]The ICLR is in Philadelphia for the next few days, for the annual conference of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL).

Among the thousands of delegates will be a substantial number from law schools and colleges over here for whom access to the most important English common law authorities is well worth the new special academic rate for a subscription to ICLR Online, $1500 (or c. $2340).

Even for non-academic subscribers, our overseas rates are very competitive, and all the more essential given that can no longer obtain the content in the US from Lexis (as from 1 Jan 2015) and will not be able to obtain it from Westlaw as from 1 Jan 2017.

If you’re attending the conference, then come and find us at booth 211, where we’ll be happy to show you ICLR Online version 2.5 in all its glory (and glorious simplicity). And we’ll be glad to let you take away some of our delightful and memorable keepsakes, such as our ever-popular water bottles, and the neat little pocket notebooks which you can use to take notes in yet another session about using social media for business development, or maximising your collaborative potential on twitter. (Yes, we’ve been at a few of these conferences, and we know that the key draw is not the sessions, great as they often are, but the NETWORKING. See you in the bar at six. )

We’ll update this blog post as the conference progresses, with comments and observations about the city and all the fun we’re having.
