ICLR reporters covering the UK Supreme Court have always written WLR Daily case summaries of their judgments in advance of the publication of a fully headnoted, checked and edited law report; but now you can link to them in a special feed directly from the Decided Cases page on the Supreme Court’s website: https://www.supremecourt.uk/decided-cases/index.html
The links are part of a pilot scheme announced by Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, President of the Supreme Court, on 6 October 2015, at the end of his memorable talk on the subject of the Top 15 Cases published by ICLR to mark the occasion of its 150th birthday.
The pilot scheme will continue for the whole of the Michaelmas Term 2015. If successful, the links will become a permanent feature, enabling anyone downloading a copy of the judgment on the Supreme Court website also to have convenient access to our reporter’s expert legal interpretation of the decision:
Similar links are already in place for Court of Appeal and other court judgments published via BAILII, following an arrangement set up in 2012.
To search for earlier WLR Daily case summaries (from all courts), or for any full text law report published by ICLR since 1865, you can still call up the free Case Search page on the ICLR website, now located under the Case Law menu option, and for the most recent cases there is a feed on the Home Page.
